As part of a Sommelier course, I recently explored the L’Ecole 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon. This was a wine that carries the expectations and prestige of its Columbia Valley origins and the promise of a 90+ rating. With its medium acidity, full body, and firm tannins, it’s clear that this wine is built to last and potentially evolve with time.

While my personal journey with this wine suggests that there might be other offerings from Columbia Valley that resonate more profoundly with my palate, the L’Ecole Cabernet Sauvignon’s character and potential cannot be overlooked.
